The Media Studies and Journalism Department (MSJ) at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized the MSJ orientation program for Spring 2023 on Saturday to welcome the newest members of the family.
The new students were welcomed to their department and given a preview of the four years of exciting journey they would undertake.
The event was hosted at the auditorium of ULAB's Research Building.
Professor Jude William Genilo, head of Media Studies and Journalism department, gave an informative speech to the newcomers.
In his speech, he stated: “All the faculty members of the MSJ department would like to see the success in their student's life and in their profession. It is like a give and take relationship, so don't waste this opportunity.”
Professor Jude William Genilo also introduced the faculty members to the freshers.
Muhammad Aminuzzaman, senior lecturer of Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ) department of ULAB talked about portfolio creation.
During the program's concluding section, a video screening session was arranged to display some of the current and previous students' outstanding creative communications and digital projects.
After the individual session with advisors, the program concluded with a visit to the ULAB Research Building Library and the Media Studies and Journalism Media Lab.
