A motorcyclist was killed in Dhaka after a tanker lorry ran over him on Friday.
The incident was reported in front of Faraji Hospital at the capital’s Rampura early in the morning, said police.

The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Abu Naser Patwary, who was the manager of Chittagong Bull Hotel and Restaurant, according to Sub-Inspector Shahriar Hossain of the Rampura police.
“The tanker lorry ran him over while he was on his way to work”, he said.
Naser was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival, the police officer said before adding the driver and his assistant have been detained.
