Police have arrested the driver of a covered van for ruining over and killing three people at Dhaka’s Uttara area on Thursday morning.
Bashir, 25, was arrested from Bhola on Friday, RAB-1 Commander Lt Col Abdullah Al-Momen told Bangla Tribune on Saturday.
He said that Bashir’s driving license only permits him to drive light vehicles and not heavy ones.
Moreover, he has been driving with a license that expired four years ago.
On April 14, Enamul, 45, was on his way to Uttara from Rayerbajar with his aunt and younger brother on his bike.
Enamul and his aunt died on spot after a covered van hit him at Uttara Sector-3.
His 14-year-old brother, Anik, was taken to Kurmitola General Hospital. Later, he was transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
