A teen has been stabbed to death by some miscreants in Kamrangirchar of the capital.
The incident took place at around 9pm on Friday in the Chhata Mosjid area of Kamrangirchar.
The deceased was identified as Sifat Bhuiyan, 14, son of Palash Mollah, DMCH police outpost In-Charge Md Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
The body was sent to the DMCH morgue for autopsy. The incident has been informed to the concerned police station, the police officer said.
Sifat’s employer, Fazlul Haque said Sifat was having an altercation with another teen named Shubho while eating at a shop in the area. At one point, Shubho and two others stabbed Sifat and fled the scene.
Later, Sifat was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a critical condition where the doctors pronounced him dead.
Sifat worked at his workshop in the area, Fazlul Haque added.
