A toddler’s body has been recovered from a dumpster in Hazaribagh.
The body of the one-and-half year old little girl was discovered by a person on Tuesday.
Hazaribagh police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Ekram Ali Mia confirmed the matter.
“A person called us at 8:30am and told us that a toddler’s body was found at Hazaribagh park. After reaching the spot, police recovered the body. The toddler was a girl; she had a red half-pant and blue t-shirt on her.”
The identity of the girl and the cause of the death are yet to be found, police said.
“The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for an autopsy,” the OC said.
