A person has been killed in a motorcycle accident in Badda.
The accident took place around 11:30pm on Wednesday.
Zarmin Zaman, 32, was taken to Dhaka Medical Hospital (DMCH) in a critical state where the on-duty doctor pronounced him dead.
DMCH police outpost In-charge Inspector Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter. He said the deceased’s body was kept at the DMC mortuary.
Zarmin was the son of Faruk Ahmed of Middle Badda.
Zarmin was going to old town with his friend Gopal Majumder when the accident took place, after the motorbike hit a rickshaw and lost control, his brother-in-law Abdul Khaleque said.
However, Gopal who was controlling the motorbike remained uninjured.
