With a commitment to change the society, Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has enhanced a supportive hand to 40 underprivileged children of the JAAGO foundation.
In order to make sure a sustainable future for the JAAGO students, MTB focused not only in educational support but also opened the door of financial inclusion to them, said a press release issued Wednesday.
Since the inception, financial institution MTB has made a commitment to serve society through employment creation, supporting community projects and events to be responsible corporate citizens, as part of its numerous CSR activities.
Under the leadership of Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MTB managing director & CEO, the financial institution has taken the wonderful step towards breaking the cycle of poverty through education since earlier 2019.
MTB introduced their generous new initiative ‘MTB ANKUR’, which will essentially allow underprivileged children to grow the habit of savings from an early age for a financially secured future.
For the last 13 years, JAAGO Foundation has been supporting 3,500 students with the help of the well-wishers and the supporters of JAAGO to break the cycle of poverty and to rebuild a better nation.
JAAGO family always believes that without all support and love, the dreams of quality education for these children can never be fulfilled, according to the press release.
