Dense fog disrupted the flights at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka for five hours.
The flight operations were suspended from 5am till 10am on Thursday, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) spokesperson AKM Rezaul Karim said.
Rezaul said: “The flights were disrupted due to dense fog. The operations were normal last night.”
He said an aircraft left the Dhaka airport for Saudi Arabia around 3:46am while a flight from Kuala Lumpur landed at the airport around 4am.
The CAAB spokesperson said: “A flight of the US-Bangla Airlines had to land at Chittagong after it failed to land in Dhaka around 7:15am.”
