Two cases have been filed over the arms and ammunitions recovery incident in bordering Satchhari forest of Chunarughat upazila in Habiganj.
Deputy Additional Director of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) 9 Samiul Islam filed two separate cases under Arms and Explosive Acts in the evening cases.
Chunarughat police station Officer-in-Charge Amulya Kumar Chowdhury said: “RAB filed those cases with Chunarughat police station. The RAB personnel also submitted the recovered arms and ammunitions with the police station. However, nobody has been made accused in the cases.”
RAB have recovered a total of 222 pieces of 40m rocket shells, 248 rocket launcher charges and other warheads till Wednesday evening.
The elite force members also said the arms were similar to those of 10-truck in Chittagong.
