Anti-Discrimination Student Movement calls for High Court siege

Asif Mahmud, one of the coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and an official with the interim government's youth and sports ministry, has issued a warning to Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan, demanding his resignation and cautioning against any "conspiracy."

He issued the warning in a Facebook post on Saturday.

"The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, who supports fascism and is involved in various misdeeds, has called a full court meeting without any consultation with the government. No conspiracy from defeated forces will be tolerated. Students and lawyers have already started gathering in protest," Asif wrote.

Meanwhile, another coordinator, Hasnat Abdullah, appeared on Facebook Live in the morning, urging supporters to "besiege the High Court to stop the judicial queue and protect the student-citizen uprising."

He also called for a march towards the High Court.
