A Dhaka court on Tuesday set September 30 for holding arguments in a graft case against former state minister for home affairs Lutfozzaman Babar.
Judge Mohammad Shahidul Islam of Dhaka Special Judges' Court-7 passed the order after reading out the charges against Babar and testimonies of prosecution witnesses.
Babar pleaded not guilty to the charges and demanded justice from the court.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case against Babar with Ramna police station on January 13, 2008, accusing him of amassing illegal wealth of around Tk7.05 crore.
Deputy Assistant Director of the ACC Rupok Kumar Saha on July 16, 2008, submitted the charge sheet in the case.
The court on August 12 the same year indicted Babar in the graft case.
