21 Bangladeshis return from Indian jail

Some 21 Bangladeshi youth have returned Bangladesh after completing their imprisonment in several Indian jails.

They entered into the country through Benapole check-post in Jessore on Thursday.

Sub-Inspector also the Duty Officer of Benapole port police station Sujit Kumar Mridha said Benapole Immigration police handed over them to us in the afternoon.

The youth are Liton, Imran, Lutfor, Badrul, Amjad, Ekhlas, Mamun, Saiful, Kalam, Akhlus, Ali Haider, Mukter, Ameer, Sayeed, Nazrul, Hemayetullah, Ashik, Saidul, Dulu Mia, Bashir and Jahir, he added.

They all are hailed from Comilla, Sunamganj, Tangail and Noakhali districts and aged between thirty to  forty,  the SI said.

Quoting the victims Sujit said they went to India through trafficker eying to have better job opportunities in Kashmir area of India.   They returned to the country with the help of Foreign Ministries' initiatives of the both countries after being caught by the police and completing punishment given by the court.
