Gwyneth Paltrow believes water has feelings

On Wednesday, Gwyneth Paltrow took to her website to write some words about the feelings on water.

The Goop author said: “I am fascinated by the growing science behind the energy of consciousness and its effects on matter.

“I have long had Dr Emoto’s coffee table book on how negativity changes the structure of water, how the molecules behave differently depending on the words or music being expressed around it.”

Paltrow goes on to share the theories of Emoto through Dr Habib Sadeghi in her newsletter. In his column, Sadeghi claims he “proved that energy generated by positive or negative words can actually change the physical structure of an object.”

This is not the first time in recent weeks that Paltrow has raised eyebrows with controversial statements. At a tech conference last week, the actor compared reading online comments to going into battle.

“It’s almost like how, in war, you go through this bloody, dehumanizaing thing, and then something is defined out of it,” the actor said.
