The local administration has imposed section 144 in Satkhira central bus terminal area to avoid further clash between two groups of the ruling Awami League.
Satkhira Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Asaduzzaman told the Dhaka Tribune that two persons were injured as the factions of the ruling party engaged in a chase and counter chase over occupying the bus terminal on Monday night.
Police fired blank shots to calm the situation.
Later, the local administration imposed section 144 to avoid further violence in the bus terminal area.
