Four Bangladeshi workers were killed and one more injured in a micro bus crash in Saudi Arabia on Sunday night.
The deceased were identified as Yasin, son of Nurul Islam from Brahmanbaria, Amanullah, son of Habibullah from Comilla, Sheikh Harun, son of Abdul Khaleq from Chandpur and Halim, son of Shahid Mia from Tangail.
The injured Bangladeshi worker is Shahjahan, son of Rustam Kazi, hailed from Tangail.
Md Mokammel Hossain, labor councilor of Bangladesh consulate in Jeddah, told the Dhaka Tribune that the accident took place 150 kilometers away from Jeddah when the vehicle went out of track after the driver lost control over the steering.
Earlier, they had visited the Bangladesh mission in Jeddah for Machine Readable Passport, he added.
The bodies of the deceased were reserved at King Abdul Aziz Hospital and the injured was undertaking treatment at King Faisal Hospital in Saudi Arabia.
