The newly elected prime minister of India Narendra Modi is considering setting up of a new department at Indian home ministry to check illegal intrusion.
According to Indian media, BJP leader Modi discussed this matter in a meeting with home secretary Anil Goswami at Guzrat Bhaban on Monday afternoon.
Before meeting Narendra Modi, Anil Goswami got acquainted details about Jammu and Kashmir, Naxalite activities and intruders from the officials concerned.
The Indian Express said they discussed these issues in the half an hour meeting.
But the officials at Indian home ministry could not make any comment on the issue asked by Prothom Alo on Tuesday afternoon.
One of the senior officers of Indian home ministry said the new government has not been taken the charge yet. So, however, it is not possible to make any comments on the plan of the new government.
Recently, Modi and his followers were vociferous about "illigal Bangladeshis" during his election campaign. They said in different rallies that India will send back the Bangladeshis who are illegally living in India.
