A Sri Lankan national has been found dead at Foy's Lake residential area in Chittagong on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Ahsan Erfan, 23, a final year student of MBBS at University of Science and Technology in Chittagong (USTC).
Khulshi police station Office-in-charge Mainul Islam Bhuiyan said: “He used to stay with his university friends in the building. They had gone to the terrace at night.”
“He might have committed suicide by jumping off the building sometime last night when his friends went to sleep because of spoiling his fifth semester examination,” he said.
Police recovered the body around 9am.
