Three people have been killed and four others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Mirzapur upazila under Tangail district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Abu Jobayed, officer-in-charge of Mirzapur highway police station, said a Dhaka bound hen leaden pickup van collided head-on with another truck coming from opposite direction at Mirzapur bypass road area about 5am, leaving three including pickup van driver dead on the spot and four others injured.
