BDCyclists is holding a photography exhibition marking the occasion of its 3rd birthday celebration with the slogan “3 years of a change.” Aly Zaker, noted theater actor and a passionate cyclist, inaugurated the opening ceremony of the show at the Drik Gallery.
In the inaugural speech Aly appreciated BDCyclists' effort and expressed hopes that the increasing number of cyclists in the city will make positive changes to the traffic condition within next few years. He promised to ride regularly and experience the outdoors with his own bike.
The exhibition showcases cyclists in different interesting action in beautiful and sometimes, in challenging locations.
BDCyclists believe that the exhibition will not only promote healthy living but also showcase the hidden beauty of Bangladesh that cyclists are able to discover through their rides in the past few years.
Today, all the members of the organisation will gather at Manik Mia Avenue at 7am with their cycles for a celebration ride. Around 3000 cyclists will join in the ride with their cycle in a festive mood with horse carriage, balloons, banner and festoons and share the joy.
