The body of an unidentified minor girl has been found inside a suitcase floating on a ditch in Hazaribagh area of the capital.
Locals spotted the blue suitcase on Sunday and informed the police. Later, the body was recovered around 3pm in the afternoon.
“The body was distorted, decomposed and wrapped with a scarf,” Hazaribagh police station Officer-in-Charge Kazi Moinul Islam said.
The body of the girl aged around 12 years of age was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College morgue for autopsy.
