Abdul Awal, the investigation officer of seven murder cases in Narayanganj, has been transferred to Barisal range.
Mainur Rahman, District Intelligence Officer 1, has confirmed about the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Thursday.
Abdul Awal, detective branch inspector, was handling the cases.
Shiddhirganj police station OC Abdul Matin has been transferred to Tangail while Narayanganj DB Officer-in-Charge Mahbub Reza to Barisal range.
Fatullah police station OC Akter Hossain has been replaced by Narshingdi police station OC Asaduzzaman while Mahbub Reza replaced by DB official Mamunur Rashid Mandal of Narshingdi.
On May 4, Narayanganj police handed over the NCC councillor Nazrul Islam murder case along with seven cases to Detective Branch (DB) of Police.
