On the 153rd birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, a special single episode drama Bibha will be aired tomorrow on NTV at 12:20pm. Directed by Sumon Anowar, the drama is an adaptation of Tagore’s Robibar.
The romantic drama features popular soap actors, Jaya Ahsan and Mahfuz Ahmed in lead roles.
Plot of the drama revolves around a female character named Bibha whose parents passed away in her childhood. She takes care of her family property. A financially solvent Bibha falls in love with Abhik, who is a painter. Abhik is a carefree man who loves to explore his life with full freedom and does not believe in boundaries. He cares for Bibha but also enjoys spending time with other women. Sometimes, he also takes financial support from Bibha.
However, Bibha does not not bother much about his freindship with other women since she is confident about the strength of her love. At one point, her teacher asks her for a big amount of money for an emergency and a helpful Bhibha sells her jeweleries to extend a helping hand. Abhik refuses to accept her decision and that creates problem for them.
He decides to leave her forever and heads to London to explore his life and his artistic career. On the other hand, a loyal Bibha keeps on waiting for him.
