Police arrested the prime suspect in the kidnapping of businessman Saiful Islam of Narayanganj on Saturday.

Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Masudur Rahman, has confirmed the arrest of Akash to the Dhaka Tribune.
Masudur said: “A bKash agent Akash, 34, has been arrested from South Jatrabari around 4.30pm along with the cell phone used in the ransom demands made to Saiful's family.”
At midnight on Friday, police arrested a couple from the capital's Jatrabari area in this connection.
Police rescued abducted Saiful from the Nabinagar Bus Stand in Savar on Friday night immediately after the criminals left him with his hands and legs tied.
Saiful was abducted from the Sanarpar area of Narayanganj on Thursday evening while he was returning to his house.
The kidnappers later demanded Tk20 lakh as ransom from his family.
