Bangladesh government has appointed Major General K.M. Mominur Rahman as new ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
A foreign ministry media release has said on Tuesday.
Rahman was commissioned in Bangladesh Army in 1980 and ahead of his new diplomatic assignment on deputation.
He served as the executive chairman of BEPZA, Quartermaster General in Army and general officer commanding (GOC) of the Savar-based 9th Infantry Division.
