Single-episode drama Kobitar Khunshuti featuring Shatabdi Wadud as a poet will be aired tonight at 9pm on NTV. Written by Tushar Abdullah and directed by Sarker Milton, the drama also features popular actors, such as, Bonya Mirza, Moushumi Hamid, Saki and many others.
The story of the drama revolves around a poet named Orpon. He writes poems only to impress his girlfriend Labonyo. His world of poetry only circles around Labonyo and she encourages him with her full sincerity. After a while, Orpon takes poetry recitation and writing as his career. He begins earning by reciting poems. In this venture, Orpon meets Opshori and Papri and they provide him with works so he can earn more. His dependency on the two young girls grow more and that brings distance between him and Labonyo. Eventually, his quality in writing poems also begins to fall. The story turns to a different angle when Orpon realises his mistakes.
