BTCL and Postal Department jointly organized a discussion meeting on March 23 on the occasion of March 25- Genocide Day and March 26- Independence day.
The meeting was held with limited participation following the hygiene rules in the meeting room of BTCL's head office, Telecommunication Building.
A photo exhibition on the March 25 genocide was also held at the side of the BTCL auditorium.
Honorable Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mustafa Jabbar was present as the chief guest in the meeting and Honorable Secretary of Posts and Telecommunications Md Afzal Hossain was present in the BTCL meeting as the chairman of the meeting.
Mr Kazi Sajjad Ali Zaheer, a heroic freedom fighter, presented the keynote address at the meeting.
Senior officials of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications and Heads of Subordinate Agencies were also present in the BTCL meeting room.
Other officers were virtually connected. At the meeting, teachers and a limited number of students from educational institutions run by BTCL and the Postal Department were given the opportunity to join from their respective institutions through Tararas.
