Monirul Islam, chief of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crimes of Dhaka Metropolitan Police made the disclosure on Monday.
Earlier on Sunday, a Dhaka Court granted Tahmid bail. He was arrested under Section 54 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) nearly a month ago.

However, police have charged Tahmid with not giving information on the attackers. Calling Tahmid an eyewitness of the July attack, on September 28 the investigation officer submitted an application to file a prosecution report under section 176 alleging uncooperativeness with the investigation despite repeated legal notice.
