Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate a flight to Riyadh on October 25 as the security situation in Saudi Arabia improves following attacks on airports.
The flight will depart Dhaka at 1:25am on October 26, Bangladesh time, the airline’s public relations department said on Wednesday.
Further decisions on other Riyadh-bound flights will be made after assessing the overall security situation, Biman said.
Meanwhile, the airline resumed flights to Dammam on Wednesday. Until October 26, a daily flight will depart Dhaka for Dammam at 8:00am, Bangladesh time, using Boeing 777 aircraft.
For Jeddah, Biman will operate two flights from Dhaka on October 22, followed by one daily flight at 7:20pm on October 23, 24 and 25.
Flights to Medina have been operating since October 18 using Boeing 787 aircraft. The route’s operations and schedule will remain unchanged until further notice.
Biman said it would provide updates on flight operations and schedules as decisions are made.
Passengers have been advised to contact their nearest Biman sales centre for ticket purchases, bookings and other travel-related information.
