Hajj-2027 registration ends on Sept 24

The registration process for the 2027 Hajj will end on September 24 this year, with no scope for an extension, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

As per instructions from the Saudi government, immediately after the registration process ends, the final number of Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh will be communicated to the Saudi authorities.

Based on the final number of pilgrims, necessary activities, including remittance of funds for the Saudi phase, medical checkups, fitness certificates, vaccination, and training programs, will be carried out.

Bangladesh’s Hajj quota for 2027 is 78,500 pilgrims. As of September 9, 2026, a total of 3,741 pilgrims have registered, including 1,065 through the government channel and 2,676 through the private channel.

All concerned have been requested to complete registration within the stipulated deadline of September 24 to ensure their participation in the 2027 Hajj in accordance with the instructions of the Saudi government.

The registration process for Hajj 2027 began on July 27 this year.
