A mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Moulvibazar, Panchagarh, Rajshahi and Pabna and it may continue, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
In a weather forecast valid for 24 hours commencing from 9am Friday, the Met Office said the weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over river basins during early morning, it said, also predicting that night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The highest temperature recorded on Friday was 31.6°C in Teknaf while the lowest was 8.4°C in Sreemangal.
