“Alif Fine Arts” has announced a new initiative titled “ARTISTA,” inviting artists and photography enthusiasts from all over the country to showcase their creative talents. The organization aims to bring hidden artworks—often left in phone galleries or sketchbooks—into the public eye through an open contest and exhibition.
The artwork categories include painting, sketching, digital artwork, and photography. The deadline for submission is November 30, 2025, said a press release issued on Monday.
Participation as well as contests are open to all ages. A separate section for children will also be set in the exhibition. The exhibition will take place at Bangladesh Shishu Academy from December 9-12, 2025.
“Many of us enjoy capturing pictures as a hobby. Many people enjoy using their cell phones to record anything, from the rain on the city streets to the harvest scenes in rural Bengal,” the release said.
Alternatively, some people take a seat with a canvas, paint, and a brush when they have some free time. They put in endless hours into their artworks. But sometimes those pictures are not shared with anyone. They remain in the phone gallery or the pages of the art book. With time, those moments are lost, the release added.
It further said: “Alif Fine Arts has come up with a great initiative to breathe some life into the pictures of all those moments that are lost with time. Now you can show any picture you have drawn or captured on your device to your friends and relatives.”
“Alif Fine Arts is going to organize a visual art and photography contest, ARTISTA. Submit any of your artwork or photography to us. If you are selected in the initial round, you will get the opportunity to exhibit your artwork by completing the registration. For the best artwork, there are special rewards in addition to many other prizes,” the release further added.
