Covid: 15 cases reported in 24 hours across Bangladesh

In the last 24 hours, 15 new cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Bangladesh, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

No deaths were reported during this period.

The DGHS said that between 8am on Wednesday and 8am Tuesday, a total of 134 samples were tested, and 15 came back positive.

The detection rate during this period was 11.19%, while the overall positivity rate stands at 13.5%.

So far, a total of 2,051,785 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Bangladesh. The death toll remains at 29,500.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 18 more patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,019,398.
