BSP urges CA to condemn Israeli airstrikes in Gaza

The Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) has called on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus to draw the attention of world leaders and strongly condemn the Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, Palestine.

The call was made in a statement sent to the media on Wednesday, reports Bangla Tribune.

BSP Chairman Syed Saifuddin Ahmed Maizbhandari said: "Israel launched massive bomb attacks on Gaza at midnight on Monday. In this attack, at least 500 people, including Gaza's de facto prime minister Issam Da’alis, were killed. BSP strongly condemns such massacres by Israel."

He added: "For years, the barbarity and massacres committed by Israeli forces against the Palestinians have continued. However, international organizations, including the United Nations, have remained silent regarding Israel's genocide."

The BSP chairman further said: "It is time to form a new Muslim United Nations, with the coordination of all Muslim countries, to stop Islamophobia worldwide and prevent the genocide of Muslims."

He appealed to Prof Yunus, saying: "As a Nobel laureate and internationally renowned figure, we hope that you will effectively use your international reputation to draw the attention of world leaders to halt Israel's genocide in Gaza."

In the statement, BSP also urged all humanitarian countries, political parties in Bangladesh, and all sectors of society to raise their voices in protest against Israeli barbarity.
