Which roads to avoid during BNP rally on Friday

The BNP is set to hold a major rally in Dhaka, marking "National Revolution and Solidarity Day” on Friday.

The event was scheduled to take place on Thursday but was postponed later.

In the context of 17 years after the fall of the Awami League following the student-people uprising, BNP aims to demonstrate its strength through this rally.

Extensive preparations have been made to ensure the participation of a large number of leaders, activists, and the general public.

For city dwellers, here are the roads likely to experience significant disruptions:

The rally will begin at 2:30pm from BNP's central office in Naya Paltan, traversing various streets in the capital and concluding at Manik Mia Avenue in front of the National Parliament.

Starting from the central office in Naya Paltan, the procession will proceed through Kakrail, Matsya Bhaban, the Engineering Institute, Shahbagh, Hotel Intercontinental, Banglamotor, Karwan Bazar, and Farmgate before ending at Manik Mia Avenue.

According to BNP's media cell, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will inaugurate the rally with a brief assembly in front of the central office in Naya Paltan.
