He made the statement while talking to the journalists after a meeting with Bangladesh Woman Chamber of Commerce and Industries on Sunday afternoon. The minister said the probe report of the committee led by former central bank governor Mohammed Farashuddin will disclose the report. He said: “We are taking time to publish the report because the Bangladesh Bank governor is taking some necessary action against some staffs and officials who were allegedly involved with the heist.” Former Bangladesh Bank governor Farashuddin ha earlier submitted the probe report on the hacking and robbery of $81 million from the central bank’s foreign currency reserve account with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in February to the Ministry of Finance on May 30.
