The Titas Gas Authority has declared that reports circulating in the mass media or on social media regarding new or increased load gas connections for residential buildings are completely false and baseless.
The Titas authority confirmed this information in a statement released on Thursday afternoon.
The statement mentioned that, as per government regulations, new gas connections or increased load connections for residential houses remain suspended. Any reports in the media or social media suggesting otherwise are entirely rumors and without any foundation.
The authority also warned that certain fraudulent groups are misleading the public, and urged everyone to remain cautious. They advised people to contact the gas distribution company if needed.
