The gas supply in Chittagong has been disrupted due to adverse weather conditions affecting the LNG supply from the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) in Moheshkhali, Cox's Bazar.
Several areas under the Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company Limited (KGDCL), along with parts of the Bakhrabad and Titas Gas distribution zones, are struggling from significantly reduced gas pressure.
In a statement on Monday, Petrobangla apologised for the inconvenience and assured consumers that the situation is expected to improve by the evening, with gas supply anticipated to return to normal levels.
