Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday forecast that weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
"Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and southern part of the country and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight till morning in the next 24 hours commencing 9am on Saturday," the weather bulletin added.
Night temperature may rise slightly over the country; day temperature may fall by 1-2°C over northern part and it may fall slightly elsewhere over the country.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 29°C in Srimangal while Saturday's minimum temperature was recorded 09.6°C in Tetulia and Nikli.
The sun sets at 5.17pm on Saturday and rises at 6.38am on Sunday in the capital.
