BNP standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain has been kept under close observation at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Evercare Hospital in the capital as his physical condition remains unchanged.
BNP media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to the media on Monday.
Following a treatment of chest pains, Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain returned home from Singapore on September 5.
As he fell ill again, he was admitted to Evercare Hospital on December 5.
He was shifted to the ICU of the hospital on Friday night when his condition deteriorated.
Shairul Kabir Khan also informed the media that BNP Vice-Chairman Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain is keeping track of Dr Hossain’s health condition.
