A bus of Akash Paribahan was set on fire by miscreants in the capital's Khilkhet area on Monday night amid the ongoing blockade being enforced by BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami.
The incident took place around 8:35pm.
On information, two fire engines rushed to the spot and doused the fire around 9:10pm.
Ershad Hossain, duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, confirmed the fire.
No casualties were reported.
