Three Baul singers have reportedly been injured in an attack on a gathering of Bauls in Belabo upazila in Narsingdi.

Dhaka TribuneThe injured are Minto, 30, of Sherpur, Md Khokon, 40 of Kishoreganj and Riad Bhuiyan, 32, of Khulna.
Jahangir Alam Bhuiyan, director of Polokito Ashram, said they arranged a program in ‘Lalon Akhrabari Ashram' where some 10-12 devotees attended the program from different districts.
His cousins Jahangir Sheikh and Shaheen have previous conflicts. As a result of that dispute, the attack led by both of them took place on Sunday afternoon.
They attacked baul singers and vandalized musical instruments.
Dhaka TribuneWhen the attackers resisted the attack, they beat up the singers, injuring three of them.
However, the accused denied the allegations against them.
They alleged that the baul singers locked into a fight with each other after being drunk.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Belabo Police Station Tanveer Ahmed said that after receiving the news, a police team visited the spot.
An investigation is underway to determine whether the attack was unprovoked.
