Jatiyo Chatra Samaj launches official website

Jatiyo Chatra Samaj (JCS), the student wing of Jatiyo Party (JaPa), on Monday launched its website – https://jcsbd.org/ – to bring political knowledge and skills to the young political leaders of JCS across the country.

This platform provides an easier and more engaging way for young political enthusiasts to learn about Jatiyo Party (JaPa) and its youth wing, according to a press release.

Featuring a user-friendly interface, the official website of JCS is also an ideal platform for young politicians seeking to gain insight into the political process and includes a link to the Politics Matters e-learning platform www.politicsmatters.com.bd.

The launch ceremony, which took place in Dhaka, brought together 151 newly elected executive members from both the grassroots and central levels of Jatiyo Chatra Samaj.

The event was attended by Jatiyo Party's top leaders, Golam Mohammad Quader MP, chairman as chief guest; Md Al-Mamun, president, Jatiyo Chatra Samaj and Dana L Olds, chief of Party, SPL, Democracy International.

The USAID-funded Strengthening Political Landscape (SPL) project supported the Jatiyo Chatra Samaj (JCS) in developing the website aimed at attracting young politicians and enhancing their political knowledge.

JCS appointed a contact person and a team to manage the website, initiate the online campaign, organize training for newly recruited members, and establish an online application process to approve membership applications as part of its membership recruitment program.

A notable feature of JCS's newly launched website is the access to SPL's e-learning platform, www.politicsmatters.com.bd, which enables leaders to improve their political skills at their own pace.

The website launch was organized by the USAID-funded Strengthening Political Landscape (SPL) project, implemented by Democracy International.
