The program aimed to raise awareness and was attended by hundreds of ULAB students who were eager to learn about the importance of gender equality in the modern world, according to a press release.

The panel discussion was graced by Bangladeshi film actress Nazifa Tushi who joined as the chief guest.

During the discussion, Nazifa Tushi highlighted that gender equality is not just about women's rights, but about equal rights for all genders.

She emphasized that we need to promote gender equality in every aspect of our lives, be it in the workplace, education, or society as a whole.

"We need to make sure that everyone, regardless of their gender, is given equal opportunities and treated with respect," she added.

Md Huzzatul Islam, deputy program coordinator of TIB, also joined the session and shared his thoughts on the importance of gender equality in our society.
