Grameenphone Academy has recently awarded the winners of the Grameenphone Academy - Cisco Network Academy 4IR Learning Challenge.
The free, open learning platform, in an auspicious ceremony, gave 24 laptops, 23 mobile phones and 23 tabs to the winners, reads a press release issued Thursday.
Lawmaker Nahim Razzaq was present at the ceremony as chief guest. He termed Grameenphone Academy a groundbreaking and unique way of youth empowerment through upskilling.
Md Mohiuddin Ahmed, vice chairman of the BTRC, was present as a special guest. He thanked Grameenphone Academy for such a practical way of learning to lessen the skill gap prevalent in the country, which is completely free for all.
Grameenphone CEO Yasir Azman thanked the academician for giving the access to the industry and joining hands together towards the dream of smart Bangladesh.
The event ended with a musical performance by ULAB Vice Chancellor Imran Rahman.
