Met office forecasts dry weather across Bangladesh

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am on Friday.

"Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night till morning," said a Met office release.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area. A low pressure area has formed over Southeast Bay and adjoining area. Its associated trough extends up to North Bay.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 31.2 degree Celsius at Jessore and minimum temperature on Friday was recorded by 10.4 degree Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 5:41pm on Friday and rises at 6:42am on Saturday in the capital.
