LPG-autogas prices go up again

Following the price hike in November, LPG prices increased again in December.

The new prices were announced at an online press conference on Sunday.

LPG prices are fluctuating amid the dollar and fuel price crisis due to the war situation in Ukraine.

In this situation, compared to the month of November, the price of LPG increased by Tk3.58 per kg in the month of December. Accordingly, the price of 12kg cylinder has increased from Tk1,258 to Tk1,297. Similarly, the price of autogas has also increased.

The prices were announced by Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) Chairman Abdul Jalil.

He said that compared to last month, the price of LPG in the international market has increased by 6.55%.

Based on the LC settlement of 16 institutions, the price of the dollar has been fixed at Tk105.22, which is Tk1.3 less than last month. Last month the price was Tk106.25.
