Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Thursday said that the death of Buet student Fardin Noor Parash is primarily suspected to be a murder incident.
It is being investigated how Fardin's body went to Shitalakhya, said the minister while responding to reporters after a function organized at Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital on Thursday.
He said: "We tracked the last location of the Buet student in Gazipur. How his body came to this river from Gazipur later, these issues are being investigated.”
“We will give information about this first without a complete investigation, and then this information will be wrong, we do not want to do anything like that,” said the minister.
Law enforcers will find those who are involved in this incident. The accused people will be identified and brought under law, he said.
The investigation is going on keeping in mind that this is a murder, added the home minister.
He said that it will be possible to give details about this later after the investigation.
