The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized an orientation program for Fall 2022 on October 22 to welcome the newest members of the family at ULAB Main Campus.
Syed Almas Kabir, ex-president of the BASIS, director of the FBCCI, CEO of the MetroNet Bangladesh Limited, and president of the Bangladesh-Malaysia chamber of commerce and industry (BMCCI) was present as the chief guest.
Professor Imran Rahman, vice chancellor of ULAB, Dean of School of Science and Engineering Professor Mofazzal Hossain, head of the department, faculty members, and freshers were present at the orientation program.
Syed Almas Kabir, in his speech shared his life-long experiences among the freshers. He mentioned that specialization is important rather than being a "Jack of all trade, master of none".
He focused on the lifelong learning and learning outside the classroom. He advised the freshers to be engaged in different co-curricular activities during their course of study to get familiarize with the real world.
The welcome address was delivered by Professor Imran Rahman, vice chancellor of ULAB.
