A week-long programme to mark the 65th anniversary of the launch of the first artificial satellite Sputnik-1 took place at the Russian House in Dhaka.
The event included photos exhibition titled “The History of Russian Space Activities”, as well as a quiz competition and a seminar, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

He expressed hope that such educational events will encourage Bengali youth to choose their future profession as well as pursue higher education in Russia.
The event was attended by students from various schools and local educational institutions.
