The Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) observed National Mourning Day with due respect and solemnity on Monday.
Members and high officials of BEPZA, led by Executive Chairman Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, placed a wreath at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32 in the morning.

Later, the BEPZA executive chairman and officials placed another wreath at the mural of the Father of the nation at the BEPZA complex premises. The national flag at the BEPZA complex was kept at half-mast.
BEPZA organized a discussion, documentary screening and doa mahfil at the BEPZA Executive Office to mark the day.
At the same time, eight EPZs under BEPZA across the country also organized programs. BEPZA Public Schools & colleges operated by EPZs also observed the day in a befitting manner, including by organizing essay & painting competitions on Bangabandhu.
